With torrential rain in the early hours it didn’t bode well for a dry round of golf but undeterred 38 Seniors turned out for the 6th round of the Jack Whiteley Trophy over the Brownlow Course. Pleasing to say that the rain abated for the start of the competition and stayed away for the whole of the round. The format for this round was a Waltz 1 2 3 and with an excellent score of 81 points was won by the team of John Carey, Nigel Beaumont & Simon Gray in 2nd place with 79 points were Dennis Santer, Derek Little & Roy Taylor who was on his 1st outing with the Seniors so welcome.
Congratulations go to Richard Fowell who scored an ace on the 4th.
