Seniors - Jack Whiteley Trophy #6 Feb 28th 2017

For the final round of the Jack Whiteley the weather treated us royally with a glorious morning and saw 40 Seniors taking to the Brownlow Course to play in a Bulls Eye Competition. Going into the final round there were 3 people in contention for the overall trophy Mike Collins, Tony Davis & Norman Halliday; in the end Mike Collins & Tony Davies shared the top spot with 12 points each.
The result of the the competition on the day saw the team of Philip Willcock, George Crowford & Trevor Collis come out on top with an excellent score of 80 points.

The Jack Whiteley Trophy has proved extremely popular during the winter months with an average of 33 Seniors turning out in all weathers and with 55 of our members turning out in at least one of the competition.
At the lunch after the competition Graham Secker, Seniors Section Captain thanked everyone who had participated this year and advised members of the up coming competitions and representative matches.

The Seniors Section goes from strength to strength and looks forward to welcoming any club members over the age of 55 who wishes to join us on a Tuesday morning.
